A thought is the most personal thing you have. So the bar for a capture app should be simple: it should be able to understand what you said without sending it anywhere. MindBlink is built to that bar. Transcription, natural-language analysis, time parsing, thought connections and Echoes all happen on-device, using Apple's frameworks. There is no MindBlink account, no tracking, no ads, and no server that holds your mind.

What "on-device" actually means here

The intelligence runs locally

Speech recognition, ML analysis and pattern detection happen on your iPhone. On iOS 26 it can use Apple's on-device Foundation Models for richer phrasing — still on your device, with deterministic fallbacks on earlier versions.

Your iCloud, not ours

If sync is on, thoughts move between your own devices through Apple's private CloudKit database — encrypted, under your Apple ID. We don't keep a copy. Turn iCloud off and everything simply stays on the one device.

No account, no profile

You never sign up. MindBlink doesn't require or store your name, email, phone number, or contacts to work. There's nothing to leak because there's nothing collected.

Export or erase, in one tap

Take everything with you as JSON, CSV or text, or permanently delete all of it. No retention games, no "contact us to close your account."

On-device vs the "send it to the cloud" approach

Cloud transcription can be accurate, but it means your raw voice and the text of your private thoughts travel to someone else's computer — to be processed, and often retained, under a policy you have to trust. MindBlink's answer is to never make that trade in the first place. Because the analysis is local, it also keeps working in a basement, on a plane, or with your phone in Airplane Mode — no signal required, nothing queued up to upload later.

What MindBlink never does

No ad tracking No selling your data No MindBlink account No server reading your notes

Common questions

Are my voice notes really private?
Yes. The intelligence that understands your captures — transcription, analysis, time parsing, connections and Echoes — runs on your iPhone using Apple's frameworks. There's no MindBlink server that reads your notes. If you keep iCloud on, your thoughts sync through your own private Apple account, not a database we operate.
Does MindBlink work offline?
Completely. Capture, transcription, analysis, reminders and the widget all work with no signal. A connection is only ever used to sync between your own devices through iCloud when one is available.
Do I need an account?
No. There's no MindBlink login, profile, or password. You never hand over your name, email, phone number, or contacts. Sync, if you want it, uses the Apple ID you already have.
Can I get my data out or delete it?
Anytime. Export everything as JSON, CSV, or plain text through the share sheet or Files, or permanently delete all thoughts and saved places with a confirmation step. Your data is yours to take or erase. See your controls.
